GDC & CQC compliant as standard

Dental practice marketing

Dental practice marketing is the work of turning local demand into booked appointments, and for most UK practices it comes down to four things: being findable locally, having a page for each treatment worth money, collecting reviews properly, and being quotable by AI. We do all four, with published pricing from £497 a month.

  • One supplier for website, SEO, reviews and AI
  • GDC and ASA compliant by default, not as an afterthought
  • Published pricing and 30 days’ notice

What works

The four things that actually move the number

Local visibility. Google Business Profile, review volume and recency, and consistent business information across the web. For most practices this is the single highest-return activity and the most neglected.

Treatment pages. A page for implants, a page for Invisalign, a page for whitening, each with its own price and its own FAQs. One services page cannot compete with three dedicated ones.

Reviews. Asked for at the right moment, responded to consistently, and within the GDC rules on testimonials. Review volume is frequently the tiebreaker in a dense market.

AI presence. The newest and currently the least contested. Nobody in UK dental marketing has claimed this ground.

Where budget gets wasted

What we do not recommend

Broad Google Ads. Bidding on “dentist” in a London borough at £20 or more a click, against corporates with deeper pockets, rarely returns. Narrow, treatment-specific campaigns can work; broad ones burn money.

Leaflet drops without a landing page. If the leaflet sends people to a homepage, most of the response is lost. If you are going to do print, point it somewhere specific.

Social media as a primary channel. It supports cosmetic treatment well and general dentistry poorly. For most practices it is a supporting act, not the strategy.

The constraint

Compliance is part of marketing here

Dentistry is regulated and the marketing rules are real. The GDC governs what you can claim and who can be called a specialist. The ASA governs your advertising. The MHRA makes it illegal to advertise Botox to the public, which catches out a great many practices offering facial aesthetics.

We build all of this in from the start rather than treating it as a legal review at the end, because retrofitting compliance to a campaign that has already run is expensive.

FAQs

Questions dentists ask us

What should a dental practice spend on marketing?

As a rough guide, practices growing private treatment typically invest 3 to 7% of turnover. Our plans are £497 or £1,997 a month plus the one-off build, and we would rather you started on the lower plan and moved up than the reverse.

Is Google Ads worth it for a dental practice?

For specific high-value treatments, sometimes. Dental Google Ads carries a cost per click of around £24 in the UK, so broad campaigns rarely return. Narrow campaigns on implants or Invisalign in a market you can actually win can work. We will tell you honestly whether yours is one.

Can you help with our Google Business Profile?

Yes, it is included on both the Visibility and Authority plans, managed weekly with posts and review responses. For most practices it is the highest-return part of the work.

Do you handle social media?

Not as a standalone service. It is included as supporting content on the Authority plan. For most practices it works better as a supporting channel than a primary one.

What about the rules on advertising Botox?

Botox is a prescription-only medicine and advertising it to the public is illegal under MHRA rules. If your practice offers facial aesthetics we build those pages compliantly. It is one of the most common breaches we find on existing dental websites.
