Website design for Invisalign and orthodontic practices
Clear aligner patients compare before they enquire, which makes this the one dental treatment where publishing your price is close to mandatory. We build Invisalign and orthodontic sites with pricing, timelines and results structured for an audience that will check three practices before calling. From £1,495.
- Price-led pages, because this audience compares
- Results galleries with consent and ASA compliance built in
- Aimed at a younger patient who books online, not by phone

The clear aligner patient
This audience behaves differently
Clear aligner patients are typically younger, more digitally fluent and considerably more price-aware than the rest of your patient list. They will open three practice websites in three tabs and compare.
They also discover treatment socially rather than through search. A patient sees a result on Instagram, then goes looking for a local practice. That means the landing experience has to continue the conversation the social post started, not restart it with a generic homepage.
Wandsworth, Hackney and Loughton are the strongest markets we have measured for this treatment, all for the same reason: a concentration of young professionals with disposable income.
The single biggest lever
Publish the price
“Invisalign from” with no number is worse than no pricing section at all, because it signals evasion to an audience that is explicitly comparing.
Publish the tiers. Lite, full, teen, with what each includes, how long each takes and whether retainers are extra. Retainers are the most common hidden cost and being upfront about them is a genuine differentiator.
Then add finance as a monthly figure. For this demographic the monthly number is the number that matters.
Galleries
Results are the proof
Before-and-after imagery does more work here than in any other dental treatment, and the ASA rules apply just as strictly. Genuine, representative, unretouched, with documented consent.
Video does better than stills for this audience where you have it. A thirty-second patient talking about their treatment converts more reliably than a polished gallery.

Feedback
What dentists have said
More new patient enquiries
“Since launching our new website, we've seen a clear increase in new patient enquiries. It looks professional, works brilliantly on mobile and makes booking an appointment incredibly easy.”
Dr James R.Principal DentistFinally, a website that reflects our practice
“Our old website didn't reflect the quality of care we provide. The new site feels modern, welcoming and professional, and we've had fantastic feedback from patients.”
Dr Sarah M.Practice OwnerThey really understand dentistry
“They understood exactly what a dental practice website needs, from showcasing treatments to building patient trust. The entire process was straightforward and the finished website exceeded our expectations.”
Dr David P.Cosmetic DentistFeedback received by the team behind Open Wide Websites on dental websites they have built. Practices often prefer not to be publicly associated with marketing, so testimonials are shown by initials. Originals are held on file.
Compare
Three ways to get a dental website, and what each one actually gives you
There is no single right answer here. A template builder is genuinely the correct choice for some practices. This is the honest version of the comparison rather than the one that always ends with us.
| Template builder | Generalist agency | Open Wide Websites | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Typical cost | £15 to £40 a month, forever | £2,500 to £8,000 one-off | £1,495 to £5,995 one-off, plus £50 a month |
| GDC compliance | Yours to get right | Usually missed, because there is no reason they would know | Built in, then re-checked every year |
| CQC and complaints wording | Not provided | Only if you ask for it | Standard on every build |
| MHRA rules on advertising Botox | Not provided | Frequently breached without anyone noticing | Flagged and written around |
| A page per treatment | Possible, but you write them | Only if specified and paid for | How every site is structured |
| Booking software integration | Rarely | Charged separately | Dengro, Dentally, Carestream R4 and Software of Excellence, included on Practice and Group |
| Local area pages | No | Extra | Included from Practice upwards |
| Structured to be quoted by AI | No | Rarely | Definition-first answers, FAQPage, Service and LocalBusiness schema on every page |
| Who owns the files | The platform. Stop paying and it goes | Varies, read the contract | You do, including the code |
| Time to live | A weekend, if you do it yourself | Six to twelve weeks is common | Two to four weeks, five for a group |
| Discovery calls | None | Usually two or three | None. Everything in writing |
Agency range taken from published UK web design cost guides, September 2026. If a template builder is the right answer for your practice we will tell you so rather than quote you.
FAQs
Questions dentists ask us
Should we publish Invisalign prices?
Yes. This is the treatment where hiding the price costs most. The audience is explicitly comparing practices and a page without a number loses to one with it. Publish tiers, state what is included and whether retainers are extra.
How do we convert patients who found us on Instagram?
Send them to a page about the treatment they saw, not to your homepage. Most practices lose this traffic in the gap between the social post and a generic landing page.
Can we use the Invisalign brand on our website?
Within Align Technology’s brand guidelines, which govern logo use and claims. We build to those guidelines. Note also that comparative claims against other aligner brands need to be substantiated under the CAP Code.
Do we need a separate page for teen treatment?
If you treat teenagers, yes. The decision-maker is the parent and the concerns are different: school, sport, compliance and cost. A page written for a parent converts very differently from one written for an adult patient.
Which areas have the strongest demand?
In our research Wandsworth, Hackney and the Loughton and Chigwell area showed the strongest clear aligner demand, all driven by concentrations of younger professionals with disposable income.
How do I market my dental practice?
Start with the two things that cost nothing to fix. Claim and maintain your Google Business Profile, because the map pack takes most “dentist near me” traffic. Then publish your fees, because “prices on request” loses the patient before they enquire. After that, build a page for each treatment worth money to you, make booking possible outside practice hours, and ask genuine patients for reviews at the right moment. Everything else is optimisation on top of those.
