Dentist website design
Dentist website design is the building of a practice website that turns local searches into booked patients while meeting GDC advertising rules. We build them for UK practices from £1,495, live in 2 to 4 weeks, with registration numbers, complaints procedure and treatment pricing set up correctly from day one.
- GDC and CQC compliant before it goes anywhere near live
- A page per treatment, so you rank for the work worth money
- Two rounds of feedback included on every package

The job
What a dental website actually has to do
Most dental websites are built as brochures. They describe the practice, list the treatments and give a phone number. That was adequate when patients found you through the Yellow Pages and the website merely confirmed you existed.
It is not adequate now. A patient looking for an implant consultation will compare four or five practices on a phone, at night, in about ten minutes. They will not read your practice history. They want to know three things: can you do the treatment, what does it cost, and can you see them soon.
Every site we build is organised around answering those three questions faster than the practice down the road. That means a page per treatment rather than one services page, a published fee list rather than “prices on request”, and availability stated before a visitor has to scroll.
Common failures
What goes wrong with the sites we replace
We audit a lot of existing dental websites. The same faults recur.
Missing GDC information. No registration numbers, no complaints procedure, or a clinician described as a “specialist” who is not on the relevant GDC specialist list. This is the most common breach we find and the easiest to fix.
One page for every treatment. A single services page cannot rank for implants, Invisalign and whitening simultaneously. Each treatment needs its own page with its own price, its own FAQs and its own schema.
Hidden pricing. Practices worry that publishing fees invites comparison. In practice it filters out the price-shoppers before they reach reception and it satisfies a GDC expectation at the same time.
A booking path that requires a phone call. Most dental searches happen outside practice hours. If the only way to book is to ring during the day, you lose the patient to whoever offers a form.
The build
What we build instead
Static HTML rather than a heavy page builder. Page builders load a large amount of code on every page whether the page uses it or not, which is why so many dental websites are slow on a phone. Building static avoids that entirely.
Full schema markup on every page: LocalBusiness for the practice, Service for each treatment, FAQPage for the questions. This is what lets Google’s AI Overviews and ChatGPT quote you rather than a competitor.
Booking integrated with whatever you already run, whether that is Dengro, Dentally, Carestream R4 or Software of Excellence, so enquiries arrive where your team is already looking.

FAQs
Questions dentists ask us
How much does dentist website design cost in the UK?
Across the market a template site runs £500 to £2,000, a professional custom build £1,500 to £6,000, and a bespoke build with integrations £5,000 to £12,000 or more. Independent guides put the realistic cost of a site that actually brings in patients at £4,000 to £8,000. Our builds start at £1,495 and the Practice package is £2,995, plus the £50 a month Essential plan.
What does the GDC require on a dental practice website?
The GDC’s Guidance on Advertising requires the registered name and GDC registration number of every clinician shown, a clear complaints procedure, and claims that are honest and can be substantiated. The title “specialist” may only be used by someone on the relevant GDC specialist list. Practices in England must also be CQC registered and that should be reflected on the site.
How long does a dental website take to build?
Two to three weeks for a Starter site and three to four weeks for a Practice site, from the moment you send us your content. Group builds start at five weeks. The variable is usually how quickly we receive your fee list and team details.
Do we need a discovery call?
No, and we do not run them. Send your logo, team photos, treatment list and fees by email or WhatsApp and we will get started. Anything else we need we will ask for in writing.
Will we own the website?
Yes. The build is a one-off cost and the site is yours, including the code. The £50 Essential plan covers hosting, security and your annual compliance check, but you are not locked into it beyond 30 days.
